Aligned Strategies is a brainchild of Smita Bagla. An alumnus of prestigious IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and UCLA, Smita carries 2+ decades of experience in digital transformation, technology and strategy, program management, executive management, and operational excellence. She also served as the President of TiE SoCal for the year 2018 and 2019.
With Aligned Strategies, Smita brought together likeminded people who are pioneers in their niche and created a killer combination of professionals ready to takeover business challenges and provide a one-stop solution for her clients that includes several F500 companies and some of the hottest startups in the country.
Smita Bagla
Smita is the founder of Aligned Strategy. She is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of industry experience in digital transformation, AI & ML integration, product management, skill development, and executive management. She is an alumnus of prestigious IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and UCLA and proudly served as the President of TiE SoCal for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019.
Brain Frankel
Brian is a multinational organizational development consultant. Utilizing his extensive network, Frankel advises American, Emirati and Indian businesses on expanding into international markets. His global client roster includes Coca Cola, MySpace, Creative Artists Agency, Spin Media, Bahrain Development Bank, management consulting firms, family offices, and celebrities.
Paul Orlando
Paul guided hundreds of companies (startups and large corporates on three continents) to help them grow, improve customer conversion, develop new products, raise capital, and more. Corporate clients include those in tech, healthcare, CPG, and mobile. His work has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and other publications.
Deepa Prahalad Abhyankar
Deepa is an author, speaker and innovation/design strategy consultant with an emphasis on emerging markets and social innovation. She has worked with start-ups and large multinationals, and researched and co-authored the book, Predictable Magic: Unleash The Power of Design Strategy To Transform Your Business, which was selected by Fast Company as one of the “Best Design Books of the Year”. She is also a frequent blogger on the Huffington Post, Harvard Business Review, and other publications.
Amita Suhrid
Amita is a visionary leader, who makes a difference utilizing creativity, passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and experience. An alumnus of prestigious IIT Kanpur, CSUF, and Keller Graduate School of Management, Amita served as National Associate Dean (College of Continuing Education), and currently serving as District Director – PD at North Orange County Community College District.
